It would seem that any competition organised by the WDC will be sanctioned by the IDSF, for what reason I do not know. In 1948 an Amateur committee was set up in London with the specific aim of including Ballroom Dancing in the Olymp...ic Games. That was 62 years ago. It has still not happened! The chances of Ballroom Dancing ever being in the Olympic Games, have all but evaporated.
